As I promised ... some pictures and Zingaro and me on the "Sint-Hubertus"-event last Sunday. We were both nervous, and Zingaro was really afraid. But we survived it and at least he is blessed now ;)

Still working for the same employer, but on a new job.
New job = less time for creating blog-entries.
But anyway, next Sunday, my horse Zingaro is getting his yearly blessings from "Sint Hubertus", so maybe I will post some pictures of this wonderful event later on ;)
To be honest, I'm already nervous because it freaks the hell out of him!! Ugh..foolish horse-owners.;)

Nothing better than a nice walk in the forest (Zoniënwoud/Brussels) on a sunny October-sunday, after a week of hard working and horse-riding. ;)
Of course we didn't leave Antwerp without our Photo-equipment.

"Sin Pecado" in English "without sin", was the original name I had in mind for my horse. But because my Spanish isn't that good and the memory of most people isn't either ("Sin Quewhat?..."), I decided to call this beauty "Zingaro" after the famous horse and show of Bartabas (Dutch article).
Well, now that I have had him for more than a year, I found out that Zingaro is not "Sin Pecado" at all. Although he's the sweetest horse of the whole school, he can be a little devil and he actually scares people (including me) sometimes. Certainly when he suddenly moves at high speed to the other end of the arena. E.g.: when he sees one of those scary, ugly dwarfs or pink elephants hiding behind the fence, and according to him there are plenty of them ;) .
I'm looking for an extra rider to look after him, because I don 't have enough time.
